Frequently Asked Questions

Are all your locksmiths licensed and certified?

Yes. Each and every locksmith under our employment has all the necessary training and paper work, including license and certification, in order to carry out the task of working on your home.

Do you charge extra for off hours?

No. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so strictly speaking, we do not consider anything off hours. We are available to serve you whenever you need it, whether it is an emergency or a routine procedure.

Are all your services insured?

Yes. While we take the utmost care in order to make sure nothing goes wrong, we recognize that accidents happen. So we make sure all our services are insured in order to make sure no one has to be burdened by something unexpected.

How much do you charge?

It depends on the service being availed. The price depends on the materials needed to perform the job and the time and effort necessary to get it done. You can count on our prices being competitive with the market.

Can I get a free quote?

Certainly. Just give us a call and explain what you want to have done with as much detail as possible, and we will quote the service as best we can. Usually, the amount charged does not stray far from the quote.

When should I change my locks or rekey?

This really depends on your situation. You usually want to rekey around twice a year. However, if you feel you need to do it more often, then you could. Also, if something prompts you to think you should, then you could do it, too.

Do you replace keys of vintage cars?

Yes. You would be surprised that the keys of vintage cars are actually cheaper to change since they use older technology. Just take a look at the car brands we service. If it is there, we can replace its keys.

Do you also work with combination locks?

Yes. We have a particular set of advanced tools to work with combination locks. We can get them open, reset the combination, or whatever it is you would like us to do with them. As long as it is a lock, we can work with it.

Do you work with safes and other locks?

Yes. If it has a lock, we work on it. It does not need to be attached to a door or anything else for us to make it our concern. Just give us a call.

Will you break the lock when you try to open it?

We promise to try our very hardest to keep the lock in one piece. However, some scratching is often inevitable, and some locks are just too difficult that breaking it might be unavoidable. We do have a good track record of keeping the lock intact.
